Royal Albert Hall is celebrating the Christmas season with another series of events this 2018. Thousands of people are expected to stay in London during the Christmas season with many booking rooms at hotels in North London with parking.

 

“Whose Line is it Anyway?” is an iconic improv comedy show that started at channel 4, celebrating their 30th birthday with three live shows in a row. Cast includes Colin Mochrie, Josie Lawrence, Charles Esten, Greg Proops, Brad Sherwood, Jeff Davis, and musicians Laura Hall and Linda Taylor. The show’s old host Clive Anderson will also be there. The allowed audience are 15 years old and above.

 

Guy Barker continues their tradition with an ensemble full of jazz classics with a holiday twist, featuring special guests; a cappella performer Accent, Strictly Come Dancing lead singer Tommy Blaize, jazz and funk singer Vanessa Haynes and clarinettist Adrian Cox.

 

London Community Gospel Choir, which was organized during the 1980’s, will perform their first gospel holiday concert. They will showcase their vocal prowess through some iconic Christmas songs, such as Joy to The World. Joyful Joyful will be played along with special guests.

In cooperation with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Chorus, Handel’s well-known oratorio Messiah makes its annual comeback. Performers also include soloists Anna Devin on soprano, Anna Harvey on mezzo, Nick Pritchard on tenor, and Benjamin Appl on bass. The ensemble will be conducted by Maxim Emelyanychev.

 

The musical score of the highly-celebrated movie franchise, Home Alone, will be performed by the Cinematic Sinforia and Crouch End Festival Chorus, with conductor Ben Palmer in another epic show, Home Alone in Concert.

 

Pre-Christmas day celebration will not be complete with a grand carol concert at “Carols at The Royal Albert Hall” featuring melodic ensembles such as the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, Royal Choral Society, Her Majesty’s Welsh Guards, and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Presenter Greg Beardsell will join the feud and showcasing the new version of Silent Night composed by David Arnold.

 

Royal Albert Hall is located at Kensington Gore, London. The nearest train stations are at South and High Street Kensington for Underground Rails (10mins walk from the station to the location), and Victoria and Paddington for National Rails (30mins walking distance). When commuting by bus, the nearest stops are at Kensington Gore, Queen’s Gate, and Prince Consort Road. For those traveling in private vehicles, the nearest car park is at Imperial College.

 

Space booking is required, with a price of £10.20, plus 2% booking fee. A coach location point is at Kensington Gore between the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal College of Art. The nearest coach bays and parking are at Park Lane and Bayswater Road, respectively.
